Unlike app-based or self-study platforms, it provides live classes led by experienced British-qualified teachers, using Oxford University Press curriculum ensuring that every child receives a globally recognized standard of education from the comfort of their home.
Yes. Meridian School of English is suitable for non-native beginner learners. It teaches children to speak English with confidence through live online lessons, simple language structures, and continuous support from British-qualified teachers.
Device requirements needed to join our classes: • PC or Laptop, Windows 10 or 11, a minimum 10“screen or an iPad with iOS 16 or higher. • Webcam. • Headphones (strongly recommended). Minimum hardware requirements are: • 1.1 GHz or faster, two core processors. • 4.0 GB of RAM; screen resolution: 1024 x 768. Whilst you can use other hardware including Android, some features may be impaired or unavailable. Please consult Microsoft Teams hardware requirements.

During the lesson, teacher will share teaching materials with slides, videos and use digital board to write and interact with students, so it is important to have a bigger screen. We care about the learning experience and outcome, we strongly suggest you to use a PC, laptop or iPad.
Our teachers use the high-quality materials “Beehive”, published by Oxford University Press, specifically designed for online courses and highly interactive. These materials skilfully incorporate language points into real-life scenarios, enabling students to effectively develop their speaking and listening skills in a natural context. Lessons are further tailored by teachers to meet the specific needs of learners. The flexible use of the syllabus ensures that students receive help exactly where they need improvement. We follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to ensure students are well-prepared for the future. Students are not required to purchase any learning materials.
All our teachers are certified by either Cambridge University or Trinity College London and have extensive experience and training in delivering high quality English Language lessons to young learners online.
